Every client must agree to abide by the provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 USC 16810) and only request tenant information for their exclusive use.
A copy of the Fair Credit Reporting Act may be obtained by visiting the Federal Trade Commission website.
Each potential new renter that will be subjected to a rental credit check must receive a copy of the Federal Trade Commission document, “A Summary of Your Rights Under the FCRA.”
